Robles and Nemec at the Air Base
With a big party, the season kick-off of the American Soccer League was celebrated at the Air Base in Ramstein on Saturday, September 12, 2009. At the same time, there was a huge party within the scope of the national children’s day at the Air Base Ramstein where a lot of kids had fun with numerous activities. Sure, that the Red Devils were present too.
FCK at the Air Base
For the inauguration of the festivity, the 85 soccer teams of the Air Base performed a parade. The formation was led by Betzi, the FCK mascot, who all the kids fell in love with right away. Afterwards, the season was kicked off with the first soccer games of the new campaign.
At 1.00 pm, the FCK players Adam Nemec and Luis Robles visited the party for an autograph session. The American national team goalkeeper and his team-mate were eagerly awaited, and the long line of people waiting for an autograph did not shorten. Every fan got an individual autograph with his or her name, and the US national team goalkeeper was available for numerous photographs.
