Schulz faces six-week lay-off
Bastian Schulz is set to be out of action for up to six weeks after partially rupturing the cruciate ligament in the game against Hansa Rostock.
FCK midfielder Bastian Schulz faces a six-week injury lay-off. Nonetheless, for the 24-year-old the final diagnosis is some kind of a blessing in disguise because everyone feared that the cruciate ligament would have been completely ruptured. Schulz is set to return to training again at the start of the second leg of the season.
Attacking midfielder Sidney Sam has suffered a strain to his left thigh in Rostock. It is not yet clear whether the 21-year-old will be match fit on Friday.
In addition to Schulz and Sam, the Bosnian national player Dario Damjanovic is sidelined because of an induration of the right thigh while FCK goalkeeper Luis Robles is plagued with a pulled adductor muscle. He is set to return to training on Wednesday.
