Fuchs to join FCK
Midfielder Danny Fuchs, who most recently was on loan with FCK, will join 1. FC Kaiserslautern on a free transfer. After FCK and VfL Bochum 1848 had reached an agreement, the 33-year-old has signed a two-year contract valid until June 2011.

Fuchs had joined FCK at the beginning of the second half of the season 2008/09 on the basis of a loan agreement. He has been a part of 13 games for FCK (1 goal). Fuchs has made 137 appearances in the Bundesliga second division (26 goals).
“Since Danny Fuchs is an experienced player, he is able to strengthen our young team. At the end of the season 2008/09, he has shown what we can expect from him. He is dangerous in front of goal and he can play in a variety of different positions,” Stefan Kuntz, chairman of the FCK board of management, commented on the new signing.
