Three Red Devils away on International Duty
Less than fourteen days ahead of the first official match of the 2010/11 season, three FCK players have been called up by their respective national teams. Tobias Sippel, Ilian Micanski and Erwin Hoffer will be away from the Betzenberg from August 8 through August 12, 2010.

FCK shot-stopper Tobias Sippel will represent the Germany Under-21 national team in the European Championship qualifying game against Iceland.
The Germany Under-21 national team goes in search of vital 2011 European Championship Denmark qualifying points against Iceland. The match takes place in Hafnarfjördur (Iceland) on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, with the match kicking off at 6:15 p.m. (live broadcast on Sport1.) 
Elsewhere, Ilian Micanski will report for duty with Bulgaria, as his home country will face Russia in Moscow.
Erwin Hoffer will pull on national colors too as he has been called up by the Austrian national team for the friendly game against Switzerland.
The three FCK players will return to their squad only a few hours prior to the Red Devils’ DFB Cup game against VfL Osnabrück on Friday, August 13, 2010.
