FCK Players Called up for International Duty
In addition to Erwin Hoffer, who has already been called up to the Austrian senior national team last week, also Ivo Ilicevic and Thanos Petsos have received international call ups.

Jan Moravek and Adam Hloušek, who had been selected for international duty with the Czech Under-21 national team last week, have now been called up to the Czech senior national team for the European Championship qualifying games against Spain and Liechtenstein. Srdjan Lakic has been selected as one of the reserve players on the roster of the Croatian national team.
The Croatian national team faces Georgia in a European Championship qualifying game in Tiflis on Saturday, March 26, (kick-off 9 p.m. CET). On Tuesday, March 29, the team of head coach Slaven Bilic takes on France in a friendly match in Paris (kick-off 9 p.m. CET). Ivo Ilicevic has made three national team appearances and scored one goal. Srdjan Lakic, who missed last Saturday’s game against FC Freiburg due to injury, has been selected as one of the reserve players on the roster of the Croatian national team. A late call-up could hand the FCK striker his national team debut.
Following last week’s call-ups to the Czech Under-21 national team, Jan Moravek and Adam Hloušek have now been selected for international duty for the Czech senior national squad. The Czech national team coach Michal Bilek and his men take on Spain and Liechtenstein in European Championship qualifying games during the international break. On Friday, March 25, the Czech Republic meets Spain in Granada (kick-off 10 p.m. CET). Four days later, on Tuesday, March 29, Bilek’s side face Liechtenstein in Ceské Budejovice. Jan Moravek has made two senior national team appearances for the Czech Republic, while Adam Hloušek has been capped for his country three times.
Thanos Petsos has been called up to the Greek Under-21 squad ahead of its friendly game against Belgium in Beringen on Monday, March 28 (kick-off 7 p.m. CET).
The Croatian national team players will be away from the Betzenberg from Sunday, March 20 through Wednesday, March 30, while Thanos Petsos will travel to the Greek Under-21 national team camp on Tuesday, March 22. The midfielder will return to Kaiserslautern on March 29, 2011.
