Rodnei Banned for One Match
FCK defender Rodnei will miss the game against SC Freiburg on October 22, 2011. The sports court of the German Soccer Association (DFB) announced a one-game suspension for Rodnei on Monday, October 17, 2011.
Rodnei picks up red card away at Schalke
Rodnei picked up a straight red card for a professional foul against Jurado in the Red Devils’ away game against FC Schalke 04 on Saturday, October 15. The court found the red card against the Brazilian FCK defender and the penalty kick referee Sippel awarded to Schalke highly questionable. Therefore, Rodnei has only been handed a one-match ban.
