FCK Announces New Main Sponsor
As of the start of the 2010/11 season, the company Dr. Theiss Naturwaren GmbH is the new main sponsor of 1. FC Kaiserslautern. The company based in Homburg signed a sponsoring contract until 2012. The sponsoring contract with Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG terminates after 13 years of successful cooperation.

In compliance with the request of its long-time main sponsor Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG, FCK agreed to terminate the contract before the expiration date. Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG will stay affiliated with the club.
“13 years are a long time - a time in which we stood side by side with 1. FC Kaiserslautern and shared a lot of great moments with FCK. Now, the club is in a position that enables us to realign our commitment. We will certainly keep our fingers crossed for the Red Devils and watch their games with great enthusiasm,” Dr. Helge Lach, Chief Marketing Officer at Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG, states.
Prof. Dr. Peter Theiss, Managing Director of Dr. Theiss Naturwaren GmbH, is glad about the company’s new role at FCK: “Being main sponsor of FCK offers us the opportunity to underline our great expertise regarding the challenging needs of professional soccer as well as popular sports. The cooperation with FCK, which is attended by close monitoring of the sports business, inspired us to specify the range of products of our brand Allgäuer Latschenkiefer for the needs of professional and amateur athletes. It is our objective to position our brand Allgäuer Latschenkiefer as the natural cure for mobility problems. We look forward to a thrilling season and a successful cooperation with FCK.”
“We want to thank Prof. Dr. Pohl and Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG for the successful and delightful cooperation. With Dr. Theiss Naturwaren GmbH we have found a new partner and main sponsor and we are glad that Dr. Theiss Naturwaren GmbH will support the objectives of 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the Bundesliga,” Stefan Kuntz, chairman of the FCK board of management, commented on the deal.
