Thanos Petsos Joins FCK from Leverkusen
Thanos Petsos will be joining 1. FC Kaiserslautern on loan from Bayer 04 Leverkusen. FCK and Leverkusen have reached a one-year loan agreement for the 19-year-old defender. Both parties agreed to keep the terms of the loan deal confidential.

Petsos, who is holding German and Greek citizenship, has made eight appearances for Bayer 04 Leverkusen’s Regionalliga side (the third highest sports league in Germany). He made his Bundesliga debut in the 2009/10 season and has been a part of one Bundesliga game so far. Petsos has represented the Greek Under-19 national team in one international game.
"He is a good right-back alternative and we needed an option for back-up at right-back. Thanos Petsos is a very skilled defender able to fill in at various positions. Moreover, he fits in well with the team," FCK head coach Marco Kurz commented on the deal.
