Trapp and Micanski on international duty
Trapp and Micanski on international dutIn Friday’s round of early-season internationals, FCK forward Ilian Micanski and the Bulgarian national team met England at the renowned Wembley Stadium. Goalkeeper Kevin Trapp joined the German Under-21 national team on their journey to the Czech Republic.

Both players watched the games from the substitute’s bench. While Micanski saw his home country lose 0-4 against the English national team, Trapp saw the German Under-21side draw 1-1 with the Czech Republic.
In London, Jermaine Deffoe scored three goals for the English side before Adam Johnson added the fourth and secured vital European Championship 2012 qualifying points.
Elsewhere, Lukas Marecek opened the scoring for the Czech Republic before Jan Kirchhoff scored the truly merited equalizer. As the German team was not able to transfer their domination on the pitch into goals, Adlon’s side had to accept a 1-1 draw in the end.
